This old traditional canarian townhouse called ‘Casa Roca’ is located in one of the oldest but best looked after villages of the island, only 23 km from the capital ‘Santa Cruz’ and 10 from the university town’La Laguna’. The village El Sauzal is rather small and quiet with many green areas, parks and well maintained gardens, with many cultural and architectural sites, many of them with a large views over sea and mountains.
Just a short walk from the house (78 m), you´ll reach on of the most popular restaurant called ‘Nila’, next to the church of San Pedro, a unique church from the XVIII century. Just a few yards away you’ll find the botanical garden and natural terraces’Los Lavaderos’, with a great view of the cliffs, the mount Teide and the ocean. El Sauzal also offers a many of cultural events, concerts and other events related to gastronomy viticulture. Right next to the entrance to El Sauzal, next to the Mirador you´ll find the museum of wine, where you can learn a lot about the Canarian wine-growing sector.
