The house stands on the ground in a way that is discreet, delicate, and respectful to the surroundings. A grid inspires its huge sloping roof that reveals a series of glass walls under its shelter.
The large roof covered in volcanic ash facilitates natural ventilation. The nocturnal part of the house is partially buried next to the basalt rock wall on which the roof rests. It has privileged views: the magnificent lounge-dining room invites you to lose yourself on the horizon and enjoy the sunrise in the sea and sunset in a volcanic cone.

The Bioclimatic Dwellings are situated in the south of the island, by the ocean, next to the Natural Monument Montaña Pelada and close to the famous beaches of El Medano, La Tejita, Poris de Abona and Abades. These 25 Eco Houses belong to the Institute of Technology and Sustainable Energy called ITER.
The complex produces no CO2 emissions. It´s a unique oasis that invites you to relax. Except for the wings of the windmills or maybe a landing aircraft once in a while, you only appreciate the murmuring of the sea.
Only 100 meters away from the houses, you can reach an idyllic and sheltered bay and a small sandy beach, where you will be almost by yourself most of the time.
